MONDAY MARCH 2 DEPARTURE

Today we depart for Israel. Enjoy superb in-flight service and wonderful meals on our flight across the Atlantic.

TUESDAY MARCH 3 ARRIVE IN ISRAEL/TEL AVIV

We arrive in Israel where we will be met by a representative who will assist us through customs. Continue to our hotel located on the Mediterranean. A refreshing Jaffa orange juice will be waiting for you upon arrival. Check into your hotel room. Dinner and overnight in Tel Aviv. (D)

WEDNESDAY MARCH 4 JAFFA/CAESAREA/MT.CARMEL/NAZARETH/MEGIDDO/CANA

Full Israeli buffet breakfast in hotel. Start the day with a visit to Jaffa, the oldest port city in the world. We are told in the Acts of the Apostles, that in Jaffa, Peter brought Tabatha back to life. After, drive along the coast to Caesarea, once a proud Roman port city dating back to the time of Pontius Pilate. View the monumental Roman amphitheater built in the days of Christ. Afterwards we travel to Mt. Carmel where we view the beautiful site where Elijah held the contest against the prophets of Ba'al. We will have time for teaching and worship. From here we continue to Megiddo, overlooking the plains of Armageddon, and view the 21 superimposed cities. Continue to Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus where he spent the silent years. Afterwards, we visit Cana, where according to tradition, Jesus turned water into wine during a wedding. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias. (B,D)

THURSDAY MARCH 5 MT. of BEATITUDES/CAPERNAUM/TABGHA/BOAT RIDE/FISH LUNCH

Full Israeli buffet breakfast in hotel. Our first stop this morning will be the Mt.of Beatitudes. Near here Jesus gave the Beatitudes and taught on many occasions. Here he performed many of the miracles. We will have a worship service at this unique site. Next,we proceed to Tabgha, where 5000 were fed by Jesus who performed the miracle of the multiplication of the fish and loaves. We continue to Capernaum where much of the Galilean Ministry took place. Here were the homes of the disciples, James, John, Peter and Andrew. Afterwards, enjoy a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee and participate in songs, scripture reading and prayer upon these waters. Enjoy a traditional St. Peter's fish lunch. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.(B,L,D)

FRIDAY MARCH 6 KIBBUTZ TOUR/GOLAN/KORAZIM/BAPTISMAL/FREE

Full Israeli buffet breakfast in hotel. This morning we have a walking tour through a nearby Kibbutz and learn about this unique way of life. After, we travel to the Golan Heights and learn why this area is so vital to Israel's security. Continue to Korazim, the city condemned by Jesus. In the afternoon, we will have a Baptismal Ceremony at the Yardenit Baptismal site located on the Jordan River. Free time in the afternoon for rest and relaxation. In the evening, you may want to stoll in Tiberias and enjoy some "glida" (ice cream) on your own. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias. (B,D)

SATURDAY MARCH 7 BEIT SHEAN/JERICHO/QUMRAN/MASSADA/DEAD SEA/JERUSALEM

Full Israeli buffet breakfast in hotel. Today we drive to Beit Shean, often mentioned in the Bible. The bodies of Saul and his sons were hung on the city walls by the Philistines after the fateful battle on Mt.Gilboa. View the well-preserved mosaic floor of a Byzantine church and ancient ruins. Continue through the Jordan Valley and visit Jericho, the first city conquered by the Israelites in the Promised Land. We view the Mt.of Temptation and Elisha's fountain where the prophet, with a handful of salt, sweetened the water. Continue south to the Dead Sea region, the lowest point on earth. We will now ascend Massada by cable car. It was here that 960 Jewish defenders took their own lives rather than be sold into slavery. Our guide will take us on a fascinating tour of this mountain. Descend Massada and enjoy an optional float in the salty Dead Sea waters. Ascend the Judean Hills via Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Enter the Gods city, Jerusalem, on foot as pilgrims did since ancient time to fulfill the words of the prophet "I was glad when they said unto me: 'Our feet shall stand within thy Gates, O Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. (B,D)

SUNDAY MARCH 8 OLD CITY/WESTERN WALL/CARDO/UPPER ROOM/POOL OF BETHESDA/ST.ANNE'S CHURCH/CITADEL/GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE

Full Israeli buffet breakfast in hotel. The biblical and historical importance of the Old City of Jerusalem is known to Jews, Christians and Moslems alike. We start the morning with a walking tour including: Pools of Bethesda, Room of the Last Supper, Ecce Homo Arch, Via Dolorosa,(Way of the Cross), Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Western Wall (Wailing Wall), Cardo, Jewish Quarters and Oriental Bazaars. Later, we will visit the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus was betrayed and arrested. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. (B,D)

MONDAY MARCH 9 MODEL/KNESSET/SHRINE of the BOOK/BETHLEHEM/GARDEN TOMB/FREE

Full Israeli buffet breakfast in hotel. This exciting days starts with a visit to the Model City of Jerusalem as it looked 2000 years ago. From here, we drive through the New City of Jerusalem and view the Knesset, the Israeli Parliament and visit The Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed. Travel to Bethlehem and Manger Square. View the Church of Nativity. Next we will have the opportunity to browse through an authentic souvenir shop for Olive wood. Continue to the Garden Tomb where we will have a Communion service. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. (B,D)

TUESDAY MARCH 10 FREE DAY in JERUSALEM/FAREWELL DINNER

Full Israeli buffet breakfast in hotel. Today will be for rest and optional activities on your own...enjoy!! In the evening, we will have our Farewell Dinner and say SHALOM to our tour guide and driver. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. (B,D)

WEDNESDAY MARCH 11 TRANSFER/RETURN TO USA

Breakfast in hotel. Today we will tranfser to Ben Gurion Airport for our return flight to the United States. Welcome Home with Fond Memories of the Holy Land....

Heavenly Intl. Tours and/ or its agents, act only in the capacity as an agent for the passengers in all matters connected with hotel accommodations, sightseeing tours and transportation, whether by rail, air, bus, motor car, boat or any other means, and as agent, holds itself free of responsibility for any personal or property damage occasioned from any cause. The usual passage contract used by the steamship or airline, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between such steamship or airline and the purchaser of these tours and/or the passengers. Heavenly Intl.Tours and/or its agents will not be responsible for any damage, expense or inconvenience caused by late trains or departures, change of schedule,strikes,weather or other conditions. Airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their aircraft.

Your travel arrangements are provided by: HEAVENLY INTERNATIONAL TOURS NOTE: ** IF YOU DON'T HAVE A CURRENT PASSPORT, PLEASE APPLY RIGHT AWAY AS IT CAN TAKE 6-8 WEEKS TO PROCESS.

Please read carefully:

RESERVATIONS and FINAL PAYMENT: All reservations for this tour are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of $200.00 per person which is due upon making your reservations and not later than October 1, 1997. An additional deposit of $300.00 is due December1, 1997. Final payment is due January 10,1998.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS and SITES: All hotel accommodations are based on double occupancy with private bath. Participants without a roommate will have to pay the single room surcharge. The sequence of visits to sites may change according to the discretion of the tour operator and guide if they deem necessary. In case sequence is changed, all items on the itinerary will still be covered.

CANCELLATIONS and REFUNDS: Cancellations made prior to October 1,1997 will have no penalty. Cancellations made after October 1, 1997 are subject to a $200.00 per person penalty. Cancellations after December 1, 1997 will be subject to a $500.00 per person penalty. Final payment is fully refundable,(excluding the deposit of $500.00 per person), until January 10,1998. Cancellations after January 10, 1998 will be subject to penalties set by air and land suppliers.

UNUSED SERVICES: No refunds will be made for unused touring, meals or any other program components stated in the itinerary.

PASSPORT/VISA/VACCINATIONS: A valid passport is required. No visa or vaccinations are needed.

NOT INCLUDED: Meals and beverages not mentioned in itinerary, items of personal nature such as; telephone calls,laundry and sites other than those mentioned.

AIR/LAND FARES: Air and land rates of this tour are based on current tariffs in effect for today, June 12,1997 and MAY BE subject to change. Flight tickets for this tour are based on NONREFUNDABLE tickets.

PURCHASE OF MERCHANDISE: Heavenly International Tours is not to be held responsible for any items purchased during the tour, not for their quality nor for their prices.

TOUR DATES: As in any Trans-Atlantic flight, tour dates may be changed according to schedules of participating air carriers. Please allow yourself some flexibility. In the event dates are changed, Heavenly International Tours,Inc. will not be held responsible and refunds will not be available based on this reason.

METHOD of PAYMENTS: Check or money order. Use of Visa and Mastercard is acceptable; however, please note that terms and conditions and cancellation policy of tour as stated in this brochure will apply and be enforced in the event you wish to cancel your tour. Cancellations must be made in writing to Heavenly International Tours.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: Insurance is optional;however,we highly suggest and recommend the purchase of Travel Insurance. Forms are available at Heavenly International Tours.
