Full Day Excursions

A full day tour of the island of Gozo, the isle of Calypso, visiting the Gozo Heritage (a show depicting the island’s 7000-year history), the Basilica of Ta’Pinu, the inland seat a Dwejra and the Citadel. After a stop for lunch in Victoria, the capital city, the tour will continue with a visit to Fontana Cottage (weaving, knitting and lace-making) and during the return drive to the ferry, the tour will pass through the quaint and charming village of Qala with a stop at Bel Vedere for scenic views of Comino and Mgarr Harbor with mainland Malta in the background. A full day tour of Gozo, the isle of Calypso, visiting the Basilica of Ta’Pinu, the inland sea at Dwejra and the Citadel. A full day tour visiting Mosta Dome (the world’s third largest unsupported dome), the Crafts Village at Ta’Qali (where one can see traditional crafts being practiced), the “silent” medieval capital of Mdina, the Mdina experience, Rabat and St. Paul’s Church & Grotto. A stop at San Anton Gardens, the gardens of the Presidents official palace is included on the return to the hotel. Price: $33.00

Half Day Excursions

Malta Southside. Half Day Every Tuesday Morning. Entrance Fees Included.

A tour visiting the Vittoriosa open-air market with time for bargaining and shopping, followed by a stop at the picturesque fishing village of Marsaxlokk before continuing on to Wied Iz-Zurrieq where one can take an optional boat ride into the Blue Grotto (fare not included and weather permitting). Price: $14.00

War Museum & Flea Market. Half Day Every Sunday Morning. Entrance Fee Included.

A tour visiting the Siege Bell Memorial, from where one can get spectacular view of the Grand Harbor and the Three Cities across the harbor. The tour will continue with a stop at the war Museum will be followed by a visit to the weekly open-air market below Valletta’s bastions. Before the return to the hotel, a visit to the Upper Barrakka Gardens. Price: $24.00

Cruise & Barter. Every Sunday Morning. Cruise Ticket Included.

The tour will include a cruise round the Grand Harbor aboard Captain Morgan boats followed by a visit to the popular Sunday Morning Market (open-air market where one will have time to try their bartering. A short walk to Catille Place where the house of the Prime Minister can be seen and a visit to Upper Barrakka Gardens. If the weather does not permit the cruise, the tour will continue to the Three Cities with a stop at the Maritime Museum. Price: $26.00 Mystery Tour. Every Monday & Wednesday Afternoon. The afternoon tour is designed for those who think they have seen it all! The tour will visit some of the sites which are off the beaten track and which are frequently missed by sightseers. Evening Excursion

Malta by Night. Every Monday & Wednesday Evening.

An evening tour visiting Tigne’ Point with a spectacular view of the floodlight Valletta Bastion. The tour will continue with a drive around the Capital city with a stop at the Siege Bell memorial for a view of the harbor by night. Finally, the tour will proceed to Mdina with a walk through it dimly lit streets - a chance to find out how the medieval capital earned its reputation as the "silent city". Price: $12.00
