I took my first trip to Israel in 1998 and I can say without hesitation that as a Christ follower, it changed my life. This will be my sixth tour there. I love to travel; I have been in a number of wonderful places throughout the world, both on tours and mission trips, but nothing has affected me so profoundly as Israel. There is no adequate way to describe the sensation you have when you stand where Jesus stood, or feel the wind as you cross the Sea of Galilee by boat, or smell the delightful smells of Israel. Then, when you come back to the U.S.A. and open your Bible to a Scripture passage describing somewhere you have been in Israel, wow! The tour accommodations are great; the coach drivers are the best, and the tour guides are walking encyclopedias. I really hope you will go on this trip for you will never be the same again. Other lands will stay in your memory; Israel will stay in your heart.

Today we depart from Chicago to Tel Aviv, Israel.
Enjoy on-board meals and entertainment as we cross the Atlantic Ocean on our way to Israel.
| TUESDAY, MARCH 13 |
Arrive in Israel. Meet a representative who will assist us through customs. Meet your guide and proceed for a short tour of Jaffa, (Joppa), to visit the location of Simon the Tanner’s House. Continue to Caesarea, once a proud Roman port city dating back to the time of Pontius Pilate. View Herod’s Palace and the monumental Roman amphitheater built in the days of Christ. From here we drive to our hotel, located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. A refreshing Jaffa orange juice will be waiting for you upon arrival.

RESERVATIONS & SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS: All reservations for this tour are confirmed upon receipt of your Registration Form and a non-refundable deposit of $200.00 per person, which is due upon reservation and no later than August 1, 2011. A second deposit of $200.00 is due October 1, 2011. Final payment is due January 10, 2012.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS & SITES: All hotel accommodations are based on double occupancy with private bath. NOTE: We will attempt to find a roommate for single travelers desiring to share a room. However, if we are unable to find a roommate, or you do not accept our selection, the single room supplement will apply. The sequence of visits to sites may change according to the discretion of the tour operator and guide if they deem necessary. In case sequence is changed, all items on the itinerary will still be covered.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: The First & Second deposits of $400.00 are non-refundable. Final payment is fully refundable, (excluding the non-refundable deposit of $400.00 per person), until January 10, 2012. Cancellations after January 10, 2012 become non-refundable and can only be recovered through a travel insurance policy. Please note that deposits and final payments for the tour cannot be changed from one person to another. All cancellations must be made in writing to Heavenly Tours. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
UNUSED SERVICES: No refund will be available for unused touring, meals or any other program components stated in the itinerary.
PASSPORT & VISA: Valid passport for 6 months after the tour has ended is required. Visa to enter Israel is not required from U.S. Citizens. Complete Passport information as requested in the enclosed Registration Form must be submitted to Heavenly International Tours prior to January 10, 2012.
TAXES & FEES INCLUDED: Entrance fees to all sites on scheduled tours. Porterage of ONE suitcase per person is included.
FEES NOT INCLUDED: Passport Fees, Travel Insurance, meals, drinks, wines, liquors and beverages not mentioned in itinerary. Items of personal nature such as phone calls, laundry, room service and sites other than those mentioned. Transfer to O'Hare Airport is optional and is not included in the price of the tour.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES NOT INCLUDED: Tips to guide, driver and hotel staff are not included, (Approximately $130.00 per person). Airport Departure Taxes, Security Fees and Fuel Surcharges, charged by airlines and Governments, are not included and will be invoiced to you with your final payment. The rates of the Taxes & Fees in March 2012 will be determined when flight tickets are issued. The current rate of Taxes & Fees is $600.00.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Travel Insurance is optional. However, we highly suggest and recommend the purchase of insurance. It is suggested that the insurance premium will be paid directly to the insurance company at the time of your initial deposit in order to cover the “Pre-existing Conditions Clause” of the insurance. AIR & LAND FARES: Air and land rates of this tour are based on current tariffs in effect for today, May 16, 2011. Flight tickets for this tour are based on NON-REFUNDABLE group airfare. The price of the tour is based on a minimum of 20 persons traveling together.
PURCHASE OF MERCHANDISE: Heavenly International Tours is not to be held responsible for any item/s purchased during the tour, not for their quality nor their prices. All and any purchase will be the sole responsibility of the buyer.
METHOD OF PAYMENTS: Check or Money Order only, made payable to: Heavenly International Tours.
LUGGAGE: Each person is allowed (1) suitcase and a carry-on only, which will be handled for you throughout the tour. Maximum size of suitcase is 29” high and maximum weight is 50 pounds.
TOUR DATES: As in any trans-Atlantic flight, tour dates may slightly change according to the requirements of the participating air carrier. Please allow yourself some flexibility. In the event dates and times of flights are changed, Heavenly Tours will not be held responsible and refunds will not be available based on this reason.
If you do not have a current passport, please apply within the proper time limit. It can take 6 - 8 weeks to process a new Passport. Please note that your Passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the tour has ended. |
