Our tour begins with Caesarea, the Roman city built by Herod and view the impressive amphitheatre. Continue through the beautiful panorama of Mt. Carmel to Haifa. See the beautiful Persian gardens in the Bahai Center. Proceed to the Druze village of Daliat-EI Carmel, to enjoy lunch and time for shopping, before continuing to Acco, where we visit the underground Crusader Fort. Travel to Rosh Hanikra at the Israel-Lebanon border to visit the caves and grottos. Overnight in Tiberias. (B,L,D)
Travel to Safed, a quaint artist colony, birth place of Jewish Mysticism and Scholarship. Visit the famous synagogues of great Jewish scholars. Afterwards, travel to Gan Hashlosha for some fun and a family picnic The rest of the afternoon is free. Overnight in Tiberias (B,L,D)
Today will be yours for fun! Enjoy horseback riding, kayaking, swimming or relaxation. Overnight in Tiberias. (B,L,D)
Start the morning with a tour of a Kibbutz. Continue to K'far Nachum to see a synagogue dating back to Roman times. Afterwards, enjoy a boat ride across the Kinneret followed by a fish lunch. We travel to Hamat Gader, an archaeological site; also see the alligator farm. Continue our tour to the Golan Heights and learn why this area is so vital to Israel's defense. Visit Gamla, the Massada of the Galilee. Time permitting, visit Metulla and the Good Fence. Overnight in Tiberias. (B,L,D)
Travel to Beit Shean one of the oldest cities in Israel which proudly displays wonderful ruins of a Roman amphitheatre. Continue to Beit Alpha. View the Mosaic floor of an ancient synagogue and Jewish religious emblems. Travel towards Jerusalem and view the magnificent site of St. George's Monastery. Ascend the Judean Hills. At the crest, view the eternal "Golden City of God"-Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem. (B,L.D)
Begin with a tour of the Model City, which explains the structure of Jerusalem as it was in the 2nd Temple. Continue to the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed. Visit the Knesset (Israel Parliament), the military cemetery on Mt. Hertzl and Yad Vashem, memorial to the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust. Overnight in Jerusalem. (B,L,D)
Travel to Ashkelon and visit the archeological excavations. Continue to Yad Mordechai, named after the leader of the Warsaw Uprising. View the reconstructed 1948 Independence war battle that took place here. Visit Beit Shemesh for a tour of the Stalagmite and Stalagtite caves (second largest in the world!). Overnight in Jerusalem. Travel south, via Qumran, to the Dead Sea and Massada, the lowest point on earth. At its southern end rises the great mountain. Ascend by cable car and hear the touching story of Massada. Descend and travel to the Dead Sea for a float in the salty waters. Visit Ein Geddi and see the beautiful King David's Waterfalls. Enjoy some free time in this lush oasis. Drive along the Arava highway to Eilat. Overnight in Eilat. (B,L,D)
Enjoy a relaxing day on the beaches of Eilat on the Red Sea. Overnight in Eilat. (B,D)
Tour King Solomon's Pillars and the copper mines in Timna National Park. Time permitting hike through a beautiful canyon to the waterfall of Ein Avdat. Continue to S'de Boker, home of David Ben Gurion, Israel's 1st Prime Minister. S'de Boker is the Desert Research Center, conducting studies of desert life and part of Ben Gurion University. Tour the ancient Nabatian town of Avdat which specializes in irrigation of the desert. Continue to Tel Aviv- overnight. (B,L,D)
Visit the Museum of the Diaspora, a wonderful museum of history displaying years of Jewish heritage. Afterwards, a short drive to visit Rishon L'Tzion, the Rothchild family's first winery. Continue to Rehovot, home of the world famous Weitzman Institute which is famous for technology and science. Overnight in Tel Aviv. (B,L,D)
